I am a professor with research interests that include science communication, ecosystem ecology, and riparian and wetland ecology. I share an appointment in the Communication and Biology departments at 体育菠菜大平台, where I lead projects focused on using time-lapse imagery to understand landscape change and translate scientific research to public audiences. I also teach multimedia courses and mentor students on projects that combine research and public communication about natural resource topics.
Whether as a major or for select courses to complement another degree program, Communication at 体育菠菜大平台 provides students with opportunities to learn how to convey information in ways that are understandable and accessible to diverse audiences. No matter what career path a student takes, having skills to communicate effectively will serve them throughout their lives.
