Our academic programs provide a solid foundation for understanding psychology. Courses from experimental, social, developmental, and clinical psychology assure well-balanced coverage of the entire field. We also encourage students to develop their own interests in various areas of specialization including environmental psychology, psychology of gender, drugs and human behavior, and the psychology of criminal behavior.

In addition, a minor in Psychology or Gerontology is available for students pursuing majors in other disciplines.
For departmental assessment purposes, all student will be required to complete a comprehensive examination in Psychology during their final semester.
